Saxophone Neck Strap Review
I was about to start practice tonight when my neck strap broke (the plastic latch part) and my SA80 Series II tenor hit the floor.
The damage is this:
Low C will not close.
The bottom of the sax has a huge dent.
High F# is jammed open and cannot be closed.
The octave mechanism is not working correctly.
I tried to play the sax and quickly realised that the damage was too extensive, which put me in an even worse mood.:x
I know almost nothing about saxophone repairs.
Will it require a lot of work to correct? Can my sax be brought back to how it was previously? Is there a ball park figure on the cost of such repairs?
Thanks
Jake
